Hi Girls

I am honored that you all have agreed to undertake this journey with me. It is a new year and I am ready for a new, smaller, me! I do not have the final tally yet, but I think there is going to be 20 or 30 of us competing. So lets get started!!!!

I have sent everyone the spreadsheet that we will be using. On January 6th everyone will pick a scale and weigh themselves. That number will go in the red box at the top (never to be typed again). Then each of the following 12 Tuesdays you will return to the same scale, at the same time of day, and weigh yourself. That number will go in the pink box. You will notice that a couple additional numbers are calculated.

We are all starting a differing sizes and weights so the percentage loss is the most appropriate way to gauge success. Also, I know I have enough trouble just looking at a scale and saying the number out loud let alone tell anyone else! So, we will only be sharing the percent lost.

Starting Tuesday, January 13th, we will each report the weekly % loss that shows up in the yellow box on the spreadsheet. You can either post directly on this blog or send to me and I will post for you. Then on the 12th week we will all report our total % loss (black box on spreadsheet).

  2. Thank you Joanne for putting this together! We all know it helps to have support and cheerleaders and even though there is $$ at stake I hope we all are satisfied with a slimmer healthier body (and mind!)
